RUCO’s Abolished So Now What?

At its meeting on February 21 the Greensboro City Council voted to abolish RUCO.* So what does that mean for rental housing in Greensboro? That’s a good question and one that is being addressed by a study committee that the city has put together. PTAA has a representative on the task force, as do several other groups including the Greensboro Neighborhood Congress, Greensboro Housing Coalition and the Greensboro Landlords Association.  We’ll be sure to keep you apprised of any developments that arise out of the study committee’s work.
